Scavenger Armor is full-body chest armor.

Description[ | ]

The Auto-Recycling Technical and Combat Interface Armor—a name only slightly less awkward in the original turian—is better known as the Scavenger Hardsuit. Originally built by Armax Arsenal in the Milky Way, the Scavenger incorporates quarian technology that allows the user to better analyze, interface, and integrate foreign components. A handful of these suits were given to the Initiative by an anonymous turian donor.

Blueprint[ | ]

The blueprint for Scavenger Explorer Armor is available to players who purchased the Deluxe or Super Deluxe Edition.

The following resources are needed to develop this item:

This item has 4 augmentation slots available during development.

Notes[ | ]

This armor is acquired through the Special Delivery Cache terminal on the desk in the Pathfinder's Quarters on the Tempest.

During a New Game +, the Special Delivery Cache terminal resets and another copy of this armor will be awarded.

The full-body piece functions as a chest piece during development. In addition to the seventeen augmentations available for any armor component, it can be modified during development with one of seven augmentations designed specifically for an armor chest. Though it covers the arms and legs, it does not accommodate augmentations for armor arms or legs.

The full-body piece is unable to accept a fusion mod.

The Scavenger Armor gets better prices when selling items by shifting Ryder up one tier on the sell price tables. HOWEVER, purchase prices are also shifted up one tier. The sell price benefit is good for unloading unwanted items but not for purchasing wanted goods.

Depending upon the choice of twin, the full-body piece of this set will change in appearance slightly. The female version is slightly smaller and more feminine in nature. The male version is slightly larger and more muscular in nature. There is no difference in armor performance based on gender.

The Scavenger Set of armor pieces are percentage-based weight reductions. Each piece is slightly below the stated value separately. If both armor pieces are combined, instead of the stated 25% reduction (10% + 15%), it is only 20%. For a detailed investigation of weapon weight mechanics, see Weapon Weight Strategy.
