Helping Havarl's Scientists is a priority ops or heleus assignments mission. It is acquired in the Meeting Room on the Tempest after leaving Aya.
Description
After making initial contact with the angara, you must now gain their trust in order to meet the Moshae and access the vault on Aya. Either Voeld or Havarl would be likely places to start.
Kiiran Dals' research team was studying one of Havarl's monoliths when they triggered a strange Remnant stasis field. It's kept them in a frozen state, alive but unresponsive.
Objectives
- Travel to Havarl
- Make contact with the scientists at Pelaav
- Help the researchers who are trapped at the monolith
- Return to Kiiran Dals
Notes
This mission and Meet the Resistance are added to the Journal as Priority Ops. If Ryder completes Meet the Resistance, On the Frontlines, and Stage a Rescue, this mission moves from Priority Ops to the Heleus Assignments section under Havarl.
A research center becomes available at Pelaav Research Station at the completion of Helping Havarl's Scientists.
It is possible to double the XP gain from this mission by completing Meet the Resistance and On the Frontlines before coming to Havarl.
Research Opportunities
At the Monolith, an Adaptive Remnant Core Device is barely visible on the lower level of the platform, southwest of the console. It can be scanned for +100 Remnant RD.
