Creatures are a type of mob.
Overview
With one exception, creatures are organic in nature. The Remnant Creeper is a technological construct but is the equivalent of a synthetic creature.
Scanning a creature counts toward completion of the mission Task: Comparatively Alien.
There are three exceptions to the creature classification rule. The Adhi, the Fiend, and the Wraith are creatures but all three are classified as enemies and not creatures. This means that scanning them will not count towards the mission Task: Comparatively Alien. Instead, these three enemies count towards the scanning mission Aid APEX when scanned.
