The Shadow is a sniper rifle.

Description[edit | edit source]

Remnant particle technology is the cornerstone of the Shadow's design, though the Andromeda Initiative is responsible for the rest. This scoped rifle fires a continuous beam with pinpoint precision, only stopping if it overheats. As with all reverse-engineered Remnant tech, the Shadow should be considered experimental.

The single-player stats shown on this page are baseline: Initiative I armor, no skill points assigned, no profile active.

The following augmentations cannot be applied to the Shadow during development:

Because there are only five sniper rifle mods in single-player, and the Shadow cannot use either a receiver mod or a clip mod, adding a Double Mod Extension is a waste of an augmentation slot.

Task: Researching Remnant can be completed by developing a Shadow of any tier.

The multiplayer stats shown are accurate as of Multiplayer Update - November 7, 2018.

All multiplayer specialized variant weapons are separate weapons compared to the Rare version.

Due to the different versions of the Shadow in multiplayer, it is possible to equip multiple versions at the same time in the Loadout screen.
