Armor in Mass Effect: Andromeda works a little different than in other titles in the series. Comprised of four distinct slots (Chest, Helmet, Arms, and Legs), each armor set provides a distinct set of bonuses tailored for a specific play style, but doesn't provide intrinsic protection (unless the armor provides said bonus, of course).
Armor sets
- Armor is available as sets, allowing you to mix and match different components. The sole exception is the Heleus armor, which only has two slots (helmet and body).
